Carri LaCroix Pan
Owner Carri The Filing Fairy opened its doors in 2012. After taking a career break to raise her two children, Carri Lacroix Pan used her background in human development and special education—along with a master’s degree in family and multicultural studies—to start a personal organizing business. Her initial goal was to help busy families in her neighborhood declutter their homes. Looking to expand, she developed her skills as a home stager and began working with local realtors. As word of her business spread, she saw the need for services for those with chronic disorganization (CD).
Today, Carri has several certifications in organizing and chronic disorganization. She is a Certified Professional Organizer in Chronic Disorganization (CPO-CD)—the only organizing professional to achieve that level of certification within a 100-mile radius. She holds Level II Certificates in Chronic Disorganization, Aging, ADHD, and Hoarding from The Institute for Challenging Disorganization (ICD), and serves as Director of Classes for ICD on its Board of Directors. She is also a Golden Circle member of the National Association of Productivity & Organizing (NAPO), and a graduate of Transformations Staging & Redesign School. Carri Lacroix Pan resides in Upstate New York, outside of Albany. She is married with two children and believes that work-life balance is the key to happiness. And, that organization helps everyone achieve that balance. Carri and her family enjoy bike riding, scuba diving, skiing, and yoga. She is also an experienced quilter and knows the challenges of keeping a craft room organized firsthand. |
